Established in 2006, BreakEFX was created to offer a new and exciting avenue of urban dance entertainment... different from any other of its kind. Under the direction of Eppie Deleon, BreakEFX has recently become a combination of two endeavors, a student based training group and a professional based performance group. Comprised of dancers ranging in age from youth to late 20’s, The BreakEFX crew encircles an ethnically diverse, multi-talented, & passionate array of dancers, teachers, performers and choreographers. An outgoing, motivating and energized organization, the BreakEFX crew pride themselves in reaching out to the community with liveliness, inspiration and positivity.
As many know, legendary choreographer Gary Kendell passed on to heaven at the end of 2007. Gary was not only the founding member of the Jabbawockeez Dance Crew, Mindtricks originator, Monster Shop Bumpin Touring Show director, master choreographer, and musical genious... he was a life saving mentor to more then half of this country's aspiring hip hop dance community... but most of all he was our muse, our brother and our best friend.
